Meet Our Guest Artist

Each season, Redfish Music Festival welcomes accomplished guest artists whose artistry, experience, and passion enrich our performances and educational programs. These musicians perform alongside our faculty, mentor emerging artists, and help share the joy of chamber music with audiences throughout Oregon's Southern Coast.

Alwyn Wright

Alwyn Wright began her musical journey after discovering a love for the piano and later dedicating herself to the violin. A scholarship recipient at the University of Southern California, she launched a professional career before graduating, performing with ensembles including the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra and Long Beach Symphony.

Her career has included appearances on television programs such as The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, and the Grammy and Academy Awards, as well as performances with artists including Josh Groban, Kelly Clarkson, Ben Harper, Gnarls Barkley, and the Jonas Brothers. She has toured internationally throughout Europe, Asia, and South America and released her debut solo album, Passages, in 2009.

Now based in Eugene, Oregon, Alwyn performs with the Eugene Symphony and Eugene Concert Choir Orchestra and is the founder of the Wright Davies Community Music School.

Violin

Kimberlee Uwate

Praised for performances "from the heart" with "matchless precision," violist Kimberlee Uwate is a member of the Delgani String Quartet, where she has helped build community through innovative performances, educational initiatives, and commissioned works.

Kimberlee has taught at Willamette University and Millikin University and regularly works with students through Delgani's educational programs, including the String Quartet Academy, Adult Amateur Workshops, and Classical Spark classroom outreach. She also performs with the Eugene Symphony, Oregon Bach Festival, and other ensembles throughout the Pacific Northwest.

She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where her research explored the history and development of American string quartets as professional ensembles.

Viola
Cello

Noah Seitz

A native of Corvallis, Oregon, Noah Seitz earned his Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the UMKC Conservatory of Music before returning to Oregon as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon.

An active performer and educator, Noah teaches cello at Pacific University and Linfield University while maintaining private studios in Keizer and Corvallis. He performs regularly with the Eugene Symphony, Oregon Mozart Players, Orchestra Next, and the Corvallis-OSU Symphony, and serves as Artistic Director of the Chintimini Chamber Music Festival and President of the Board for Camerata Musica in Salem.

Outside of music, Noah is an aviation enthusiast and holds a private pilot license.
