Redfish Accepts Donated Yamaha Piano!

RMF has accepted a beautiful Yamaha C5 grand piano from an anonymous donor in Eugene, Oregon and  partnered with the Lighthouse Repertory Theater in Crescent City, CA to place the instrument in the wonderful Cultural Center building, creating a new venue for concerts! Redfish will present concerts in this new venue in the upcoming year! Stay tuned for developments!

Students arrive next week!

We are gearing up for the 2022 Redfish Music Festival! Students arrive soon for an intense week of practicing and performing! Be sure to join us to hear these talented students in concert! Visit the EVENTS page for all of the concert information!

Redfish now on Amazon Smile!

The Redfish Music Festival nonprofit is now on Amazon Smile! Visit the Amazon Smile webpage to learn how you purchases through Amazon can support the RMF! Ticket sales only cover a portion of the cost of presenting concerts. Our grant writing and the support of our sponsors and donors makes it possible.

Hear the Redfish Piano Trio Live!

We have uploaded two recordings made at live performances this past April. Hear two movements of the Mendelssohn C minor Piano Trio…check out what you missed! Click here.

Applications are now closed!

We have accepted some fantastic students for this year’s festival! We are working on all of the logistics of transport, housing, meals, etc. We are so grateful for the support of our donors. We could not do this without you!

RMF Board Supports April Concert

The Redfish Music Festival Board is underwriting the final concert in our off-season — Port Orford on April 30th — the Redfish Piano Trio Performance. Thank you members of the RMF Board!

Redfish offers Four Full Scholarships!

Exciting news today! We just received notification that we were awarded a generous grant from the Roundhouse Foundation! With this support plus proceeds from our February Scholarship fundraiser, we are able to offer four Oregon students full tuition scholarships to attend the 2022 Redfish Music Festival in Port Orford this summer! Our RMF Fellowship Quartet has become a reality! Students born in, or who legally reside in Oregon can apply to be considered for this special support! See our admissions application under the “Students” tab.

Redfish fully nonprofit!

We received notification from the IRS in January 2022 that our application was reviewed and we are now a fully registered nonprofit! All donations made to Redfish are now fully tax deductible, retroactive to the formation of the nonprofit, August 2021. Congratulations RMF!

2021 Festival Highlights

Special Guests at Redfish Concert

Our November 13th, 2021 concert in Port Orford was a wonderful success! We had some very special guests perform at intermission between our two Beethoven Violin Sonatas. Pictured are University of Oregon Students Alfonso Keller-Casielles and Adam Broce performing with students from Coos Bay Levi and Charis Murray on violin and Elias El-Youssef on cello.

RMF Secures Grant from CCCC

We are excited to announce that the Curry County Cultural Coalition is supporting the Redfish Music Festival with a grant recently secured. Ticket sales do not cover the cost of bringing concerts to the coast, so this support is essential to help us fulfill our mission. Thank you CCCC!
